We are so proud of our Graduates, we just have to brag!
Caleb Peters - Texas State Musical Theatre Major
"Legacy has been more than a place for me to let my creativity run free. It has been a home, as well as place to create a family. What Legacy means to me is family. It is the family that I was able to choose, and the family that I wouldn’t trade for anything. They have pushed me to be the best I can be, and been there to encourage me through my many years of training. I cannot think of a better group of mentors, friends, and teammates to call my family. I have been blessed to have been given the opportunity to work and chase my dreams alongside all these people God has placed in my life. I will be forever grateful."
Analiese Bauer - Kennesaw State Musical Theatre Major
"What is life with out Legacy? I don’t remember since it’s been a part of my life since I was 5 years old! Legacy has become my “second home.” Cliche but true. And everyone in the building has become family. I’m always eager to walk in these doors and dislike leaving them. from every late rehearsal, dance class and performance I have enjoyed my time and learned so much! I truly wouldn’t be the person I am today without this fantastic place. I walked in the doors all those years ago a very shy 5 year old who kind of liked ballet and tennis. A year later I knew the stage was my home and that I would do this for the rest of my life! Mark and Bethany have encouraged me in all my ambitions and I could never thank them enough for the creation of Legacy! Oh how I will miss it! But i’ll be back!"
Ann Marie Meeker- Univ. of Alabama Musical Theatre Major
"There are never enough words to describe what Legacy has done for me! My time spent there will always be so special to me because of the overwhelming love the staff has for every individual student. Legacy gave me a safe place to flourish and become an artist, and I cannot imagine training anywhere else. What makes Legacy so special is that you can come in with whatever dream you have, and every member of the staff will do everything they can to assist you in making those dreams a reality. At the beginning of High School, I had the same dream as every young performer which is to pursue a career in music theatre. Now, I am a part of the music theatre program at The University of Alabama, and I am on my way to actually pursuing my dreams. None of this would have been possible without the help of everyone at Legacy! Mark and Bethany Smith have created a place for young artists to become the person they want to be. When you go to Legacy you not only get great training from an amazing staff, but you also get a group of people that cheer you on in everything you do. I went into college knowing exactly who I was, and I felt very prepared for what I was going to do because of Legacy. I know if I ever need anything, I can call anyone at Legacy and they will still help me even though I am not a current student. I can honestly say I would not be where I am or who I am without this incredible place!!"
Hannah Stephens - Anderson University Dance Major
"Once upon a time, the doors of the Legacy Theatre creaked open to reveal a little blonde girl with a big dream. Shyly she waltzed through the wings and onto the stage, with a song in her heart and many stories to tell. Little did she know she would find a home under that spotlight. Seeing the world through a kaleidoscope, she learned how to bring stories to life which in return, brought life to others. She found confidence in the woman she soon grew to be through her Savior, the Ultimate Storyteller. As that little girl takes her final bow, she's now ready to spread her wings and fly to the horizon, where dreams are within reach. Without the family I have found through the Legacy Theatre, I would not be the performer I am today. But more importantly, they have changed the way I see the world, taught my imaginative heart to remain forever young, and modeled the power of loving well and with abandon. A piece of my heart will always live under that spotlight. Thank you."
